簡介

Chef Horace專業主理日本菜,由2004年開始他的廚師生涯。他曾在不少香港及澳門的知名日本餐廳工作,當中在「見城日本料理」裡擔任主廚帶領團隊,直至餐廳在2018年榮休為止。此外,Horace還在2017年的日料世界挑戰賽中獲得亞軍,實力備受肯定。

Horace烹調時注重細節,特別留意食材的新鮮度,為客人煮出既精緻又美味的菜餚。預訂Horace的上門廚師服務,安在家中一邊品嘗清酒,一邊細味日本美饌!

It was excellent, the food quality was very good and presentation was outstanding. A lot of the dishes were very creative and unique, never tried them anywhere before.

Initially our party thought that there might be some compromise regarding the quality and presentation of the food. However, to our pleasant surprise the food was extremely high end and the presentation was on par with eating at the restaurant. It helped that they brought along various props and cutlery. There were no cut corners and the great thing about service at home was no corkage fee! Talking about service, Chef Horace and his crew were extremely professional; they were punctual and the dishes was served in a very timely manner. Overall we had a great evening with Chef Horace and I will not hesitate to recommend his mobichef service to others.

It was an amazing kaiseki dinner prepared by chef Horace. I booked chef Horace 2 weeks in advance and during the two weeks, I was a bit anxious as I am not sure how a Japanese dinner can be hosted at home (I booked Chinese and western dinner on this platform before but the first time trying Japanese) so I keep texting him asking this and that… Horace was patient and was able to address my many questions so finally I hosted the dinner smoothly and my best friends enjoyed the dinner a lot!

If you can see from the photos I took, you will also be impressed by the presentation of his dishes. Especially the turnip, which is like a sculpture, and each of ours is different! chef told us that he did this one by one. He used up hours to work out each details of the dishes. He does cook with heart and passion – I am sure! It is too bad that I didn’t take professional photos for them, but they are now in our good memories. Not only the presentation, the taste is excellent too. At the moment you place the order you may hesitate as Horace charges quite high but at the end of the dinner we all feel it is definitely worth the price! See you again chef Horace!
