Other than a seasoned home chef, a host of private dinners and a catering chef, Charmaine is also the F&B Director of the social enterprise which she helped founded called Moving Concepts. With that she is in charge of designing dinner menus for guests and is the main cook in all the events. Charmaine is also now a cooking instructor at DayDayCook and also a contract KOL there where she demonstrates simple and delicious dishes in weekly videos to show people that western cooking can be easily done at home and entertaining guests is not a daunting thing to do.
Raised in Vancouver, Canada, Charmaine has adopted a very chilled and laid back lifestyle. She developed her passion for cooking while she hosted many house parties for her family and friends throughout her high school and university years. Charmaine is always in search of new food and wine ideas. She lived in Shanghai for a year and travelled to France and Spain to learn about the local cultures and cuisines in the past years.
